In our part of the world, choral and art music forms are seen as the thing of the church denominations branded as orthodox (here in Ghana, the Anglican, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian Churches and others). Hymns and similar music forms are seen as un-charismatic and unable to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, yet these are the songs that carry the deep messages of the Christian faith.

The Choral Evangelist GH seeks to contribute to highlighting the power that can be harnessed from choral and art music for the spreading of the Gospel. Music, in general, is a very powerful tool for influencing human behaviour, mood and thinking. It is a very key element of the Christian tradition, and it must be used well to achieve maximum impact. Choral and art music have proven to be the best means of preserving Spirit filled songs for centuries and must be upheld even in our contemporary era.

In sum, our:

MISSION
To demonstrate the Evangelistic power through choral and art music

VISION
Actors of choral and art music shall be conscious of ministering with the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:4).

For choral and art music to be charismatic, exhibiting the divine power of God's Spirit, actors of choral and art music (keyboardists, members of the orchestra, choristers, directors, conductors and instructors) must see themselves as ministers of God. In 1 Corinthians 2:4, Apostle Paul talks about the demonstration of the power of God in his preaching. Our kind of music will cease to just be "with enticing words of human wisdom," if we allow the Holy Spirit to minister through us. That's what we foresee.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
